RHS Harlow Carr Gardens are open for pre-booked visits during the day and have extended opening for the illuminated walk.
The illuminated walk is part of their extended opening, but the tickets have all been snapped up.
Paul Cook, Curator at RHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate, said:
It’s our 4th year of the illuminated walk, so we have decided to go further along the streamside, take in more of the garden, show off more of the iconic trees and just make more of the garden generally.
We have made it a one-way walk, that’s one lap of the garden to manage the additional measures we need to take.
Although we have had challenges this year, in some ways it has made it better. We have limited numbers, in half-hour time slots and it has created a very calm environment.
We have learnt every year and this year we have new colour combinations and used some of the huge champion trees as stars of show.
All 21 days of the walk have been booked, but we do get some cancellations. The garden during the day and the illuminated walk all work to a booking system, they can be booked online – there’s still places to see the garden during the day.
