Less than a year since launch, Sing Gin find themselves gracing the shelves of London’s world-famous retailer Fortnum & Mason.
Sing Gin has come a long way in a short time. A family business born and based in Yorkshire, the brand was launched in early 2018 by creator Ian Thompson and his twin sons, Richard and James. Proud of their Yorkshire heritage and independence, the Thompsons are over the moon to gain listings in both Fortnum’s Piccadilly and St. Pancras stores.
Sing Gin will be Fortnum & Mason’s ‘Spirit of the Month’ for November and in-store tastings will take place in the run up-to Christmas.
Sing Gin is one of the first Yorkshire gin brands to secure listings with Fortnum & Mason.
Fortnum & Mason needs no introduction as the world-famous grocer and longstanding holder of a Royal Warrant from the Queen. Since 1707, Fortnum’s has been committed to bringing the world’s finest food and drink to its flagship Piccadilly store, and Sing Gin is proud to be one of them.
The UK now produces more than 500 gins, and around 6000 are produced worldwide, Fortnum & Mason stock around 60, making this a big achievement for the business to be selected.
Richard Thompson, joint owner of Sing Gin, said:
We are absolutely delighted to secure a listing with Fortnum & Mason. Sing Gin is an artisanal craft product made with great care and devotion to quality, so this is a hallmark we’re exceptionally proud to receive.
We’re looking forward to hosting the November gin tastings, and to building a strong relationship with Fortnum & Mason going forward.
