Lidl UK has confirmed that its store on Chain Lane in Knaresboroughwill openits doors to customers at 8am on Thursday 30 August 2018, replacing its existing store on York Road.
Customers are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony .
The new supermarket forms part of the company’s ongoing expansion and regeneration plans in the UK which will see it open up to 50 new stores a year. The single storey store includes facilities such as an in-store bakery, longer-style tills with dual packing, customer toilets, baby changing and ample parking for both cars and bicycles. There is also improvements to welfare facilities to store employees.
Lidl UK’s Regional Head of Property, Graham Burr, commented:
