Yorkshire Day well and truly got underway this morning in Ripon and will continue through until late evening (1 August 2018)
There are many market stalls and attractions in the main market square and there was grand parade of 200 civic dignitaries to the Ripon Cathedral.
The event continues this evening with a picnic in T’ Park, live music, a special hornblower event and fireworks.
