The Children’s Festival over the weekend has been the most supported yet.
From the spiegeltent on the Crescent Gardens in Harrogate, over 800 children visited to see the range of shows from science, history and story-telling.
Lizzie Brewster, Harrogate International Festivals said:
We were thrilled to welcome so many children and families to the biggest and best Children’s Festival yet with over 800 tickets sold for events over the two days.
Children hunted for the Gruffalo, heard tales of secret agents, sang and danced in musical story times, played with poetry and made things ‘go bang’ in our fun science show.
It’s a privilege to be able to ignite children’s imaginations through the arts and with a series of entertaining shows in the most captivating of settings we did just that.
