Police are asking for the public’s help to find Paul Ternent, 52, from the Bournmoor area of County Durham.
Officers working jointly with Trading Standards want to speak to him about a number of alleged frauds, thefts and money laundering offences against vulnerable people in the North Yorkshire, Durham and Northumbria areas.
The incidents involve a man posing as an handy man who befriends his vulnerable victims and manages to persuade them to take out loans and credit on his behalf and hand over large sums of money.
Anyone who has seen Mr Ternent or knows where he is now, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information for incident number 12170232010.

The offences have been committed in the Whitby, Cramlington, Bournmoor and Pelton Fell areas.
