Chris Difford brought brought a mixture of song and storytelling to the Warehouse Recording Co last night (12 May 2018)
Chris recounted the story from his school days into his success in the music industry. It was an honest, self-effacing and funny account of his life travels, interspersed with his hit Squeeze songs.
The crowd got to hear about being at school with Jools Holland, why you need to be careful what you draw on your school books, why David Van Day is a quick mover and why Simon Le Bon needs to keep his collar turned down..
This is his second visit to the Warehouse, this time as a sit-down event over two shows, including a lunchtime Sunday show.
It was a fun and enjoyable show – highly recommended.
There’s still time to get tickets for the luncthtime performance today (13 May 2018) – see https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/chris-difford-the-acoustic-book-tour-live-12th-13th-may-tickets-44015837555
