Passion-driven Singer-songwriter Becky Bowe from Harrogate is ready to wow the world with her stunning single ‘That’s How Love Works.’
This new spin on a love song will be sure to empower many to keep striving for their goals!
Taking inspiration from idols Ella Fitzgerald and Alabama Shakes Becky has managed to merge sounds to create this perfect mix of old meets new in her breath-taking single ‘That’s How Love Works’.
Being the youngest member and soloist of Leeds Contemporary Singers, winners of BBC one’s ‘Pitch Battle’ 2017, Becky Bowe has already made waves in the music scene which she can now ride into the release of her new track.
This honest portrayal of the work needed within relationships comes like a breath of fresh air amongst a sea of songs that paint an unrealistic picture of love. Relationships are never easy, in
Becky’s own words, ‘you have to work on it to fix it, not just walk away’, having a rough patch does not have to mean the end.
Drawing influence from past experience Becky’s emotive lyrics are able to reach the listener on a personal level, sending a hopeful and uplifting message that is sometimes overlooked, but to which many can relate.
Becky’s flawless and rich vocals allow you to relax into the beat and be taken on a journey that you don’t want to miss.
Becky said:
I wrote the song last year about when my boyfriend and I were hitting a bit of a bump in our relationship and it’s about fixing the relationship instead of letting it go.
I think it’s important as a lot of ‘love’ songs are almost too unrealistic nowadays and this song came from a true experience, so I can only hope that people can relate too it as much as I can.
The single is available form today (11 May 2018) through all the usual channels.
