Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity for two exceptional individuals to join the Trust’s Board as Non-Executive Directors.
The successful candidates will have Board-level or equivalent experience in commerce or the public sector. Applications from those who have been at the heart of improving collaborative and partnership working in their field are particularly welcomed.
The Trust provides services across Harrogate, the rest of North Yorkshire, North Leeds, County Durham, Darlington and Middlesbrough (and in Stockton-on-Tees and Gateshead during early 2018).
Applicants should be able to demonstrate an understanding of accountability, good governance, probity, equality of opportunity, and the role of Non-Executive Directors. The Trust values and promotes diversity and inclusion, and welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds, particularly those with protected characteristics, to strengthen the diversity of the Board.
The time commitment for both roles is, on average, five days per month and the posts will attract remuneration at the rate of c£13,000 per annum. One appointment will be from early May 2018, with the other starting from early autumn 2018.
