Police were called by the ambulance service just before 3pm on Friday 20 October 2017 to reports that a 17-year-old boy had been assaulted.
The incident was on Dene Park in Harrogate.
Officers are currently in the area searching for the suspects, the West Yorkshire Police helicopter has also been utilised.
The boy has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
