Furnish & Fettle, one of Yorkshire’s fastest growing luxury interior design businesses, has officially opened the doors to its new Harrogate showroom, at 10, Royal Parade, with a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by the Mayor of Harrogate (Councillor Nick Brown).
Guests from the world of interiors and local Harrogate-based businesses gathered to celebrate the opening of Furnish & Fettle’s new showroom as the Mayor welcomed the business into the town and acknowledged the importance of local businesses in Harrogate.
The opening of Furnish & Fettle’s Harrogate showroom marks the next phase of growth for the business which Yorkshire couple Glyn and Eleanor Goddard launched just last year. After buying the Wetherby branch of James Brindley and re-launching it under the new name of Furnish & Fettle in June 2016, the business has gone from strength to strength and when the opportunity arose to buy James Brindley of Harrogate’s interior design division and acquire the new premises at 10, Royal Parade, the entrepreneurial couple jumped at the chance.
Glyn said: It’s been a whirlwind few months for Furnish & Fettle and the opening of our new showroom in Harrogate is a very proud moment for us all. Our success is largely down to the talent and dedication of our team of interior designers whose ability to understand and deliver our clients’ wishes is second to none.
Furnish & Fettle’s new Harrogate showroom at 10, Royal Parade occupies the previous home of David Love Antiques and has been given a stunning make-over by their interior design team over the last few weeks. The showroom features a dramatic entrance hall, which leads onto a relaxed open plan design studio space housing a huge library of designer fabric and pattern books where clients and designers can collaborate. The front of the showroom showcases smaller interior pieces for clients to take away to add style to their interiors.
Glyn said: We were honoured that the Mayor could perform the official ribbon cutting ceremony for us and are grateful for his wishes for our future success. Harrogate is the perfect fit for Furnish & Fettle and we are looking forward to creating stunning interiors for clients in and around Harrogate in the coming months and years.
