As part of a national week of awareness-raising, Harrogate’s local hospice care charity will celebrate its impact across the district with a special launch event at its new 7 Station Parade store.
In conjunction with Hospice Care Week 2016, Saint Michael’s, the charity supporting more than 2,000 people living with terminal illness each year, will host a special event on Saturday 8 October 2016 at its latest shop.
The launch event will invite shoppers to discover the unique range of high quality ladies and men’s fashion, kidswear, books, bric-a-brac, while enjoying free refreshments to toast the store’s opening.
Chief Executive of Saint Michael’s, Tony Collins, said:
Station Parade opened its doors this summer, joining our seven shops across the district in offering high quality ladies and men’s fashion, books and bric-a-brac at great prices.
This Saturday’s launch event is a fantastic opportunity for our community to explore our vibrant new store, while supporting their local hospice during Hospice Care Week, as all purchases enable Saint Michael’s to care for more families living with terminal illness.
Currently Saint Michael’s retail shops raise more than £800,000 of the £5 million spent providing services each year.
The new Station Parade store is open Monday-Saturday 9.30-4.30pm, and is located just a stone’s throw from the bus and train stations.
Station Parade joins the charity’s existing outlets in Bilton, Cold Bath Road, Jennyfield, Knaresborough, Leeds Road, Ripon and Starbeck, as well as Saint Michael’s furniture warehouse on Hornbeam Park, Harrogate.
