Knaresborough Town have announced the signing of Harrogate Railway Captain Simon Parkes.

I am delighted to announce the signing of Simon Parkes.
Simon is a player I have admired for some time and he made a huge impact last season when he came in on loan for a short loan spell.
He has excellent leadership qualities as well as being an excellent footballer and has played at a high standard throughout his career.
He knows a lot of the lads and we are all looking forward to getting him involved.
Club Chairman Peter Plews was over the moon with the news.
