A road traffic collision occurred at 5.50pm on Tuesday 9 August 2016 on Burn Bridge Lane/Harrogate Road, Pannal.
The incident involved two cars, a black Honda Civic and a red Kia Venga.
The driver of the Honda, a 23 year old man from Yeadon, was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
Although the cause of this accident is being investigated, there has already been some work by North Yorkshire Highways. This was in the form of additional signage, as initial measure, reminding drivers to cancel indicator lights that may still be on from exiting the roundabout, heading towards Harrogate.
