What’s in a name?
Around 2700 individual plants spelling out the word ‘cubs’ in the case of this specially designed flower bed on Montpellier Hill in Harrogate, created to celebrate the organisation’s centenary.
Members of the 20th Harrogate (the Lions) Harlow Cubs marked the 100 year anniversary at the flower bed, made by Harrogate Borough Council’s Parks and Environmental Services team using 2000 Begonia Olympic Whites for the background and 700 Pyrethrum Golden Carpet for the lettering.
