Police are urging people to keep an eye out for a wanted man, after his photograph was circulated on national TV.
Michael Walker is wanted by North Yorkshire Police in connection with the theft of a valuable diamond ring from a jewellers in High Ousegate, York, in February 2016.
Despite extensive police efforts to locate him, Walker, 30, remains at large.
He has a Liverpudlian accent, a scar on the right side of his head and the name “Kelly Hunter” tattooed inside his right wrist. He travels extensively by train to Devon, Cornwall, Derby, Preston and North Yorkshire.
Following a nationwide appeal on BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow programme on 20 June, officers have received information that he may be in Blackpool, so are particularly urging people in that area to keep an eye out.
