Evans Easyspace helps laboratory and scientific outsourcing specialists grow.
A Harrogate-based laboratory and scientific outsourcing business is experiencing a prolonged period of success, thanks in part to the advantages of moving into flexible workspace.
Network Scientific Ltd offers high quality sales, marketing and recruitment services to the scientific industries.
In 2012 the company launched an online laboratory directory enabling contract laboratories and laboratory suppliers to showcase their products. Since embracing the flexible work model, Network Scientific has seen turnover increase by 75% from January 2015 –December 2015.
The laboratory and scientific outsourcing specialists have carried this excellent momentum into 2016 winning the ‘Best Small Company of the Year Award’ at the 2016 Harrogate Advertiser Series in April.
From its beginnings as a home-based, one person business in 2010, Network Scientific now employs eight people. After out-growing the home office, the company moved into its first Evans Easyspace office in Harrogate in April 2011. Network Scientific was first attracted to the Evans model due to its flexible rental solutions. The company has upgraded to a larger office space on four separate occasions at the Evans site in Harrogate to accommodate its continued growth.
Zara Jackson, Managing Director, Network Scientific said:
We’re thrilled that the company is continuing to expand and this is thanks in no small part to the support of Evans Easyspace. As we’ve looked to take on another member of staff, Evans have always been on hand to accommodate our growing office needs. Meanwhile having the little things already in place like telecoms and Internet has meant I can focus on the core elements of the business without the distraction of day-to-day admin.
We are now looking to expand the business to the Hatfield area using the same flexible office approach as we’ve had such a positive experience here. It’s a way of working that provides entrepreneurs and new businesses with a chance to take the next-step without the worry of long-term property commitments. The flexible work experiment has certainly paid off for us!
