Paul Starr, convicted of a number of house burglaries in York, was sentenced to imprisonment in 2011.
Starr, 34, was released on licence on 7 March 2016. He has since failed to abide by his licence conditions and is now wanted for recall to prison.
It is believed Paul Starr is in the York area and police are appealing for any information as to his whereabouts.
