The Harrogate branch of TSB are running a prize draw in the run up to Easter 2016.
The star prize is a retro car for children donated by new toy shop Retro Kids are Cool Kids based on Commercial Street.
All the money raised will be going to support local charity Harrogate & Ripon Centres for Voluntary Service, which provides advice and support for charities and volunteer led groups in the Harrogate District.
Philip Darvill, from TSB Harrogate, said:
TSB is keen to support the local community and so we’re pleased to be running a Prize Draw on behalf of the Harrogate & Ripon CVS.
Tickets are available in our branch and we’re encouraging everyone to pop in to enter throughout March. A winner of our star prize, the retro car, will be picked at the beginning of April.
This isn’t the first charity challenge that the staff at TSB have taken on. Last year TSB staff completed a sponsored cycle to work from York to Harrogate raising much needed funds for the CVS.
Karen Weaver from the Harrogate & Ripon CVS said:
Fundraising is always a challenge for small charities and so we were delighted when TSB Harrogate chose us as their Charity of the Year.
The team at TSB have been a pleasure to work with and so creative in coming up with different fundraising ideas.
Last year we supported over 250 local charities and with the help of TSB’s fundraising we hope to help even more groups during 2016.
