At about 3.15pm on Wednesday 14 October, a man entered Subway in Leeds Road, Harrogate, where he bought food and drink and sat down with them at a table. Another man’s bag had been left unattended on another chair at the same table.
The man finished his meal, and then walked out, taking with him the victim’s bag and its contents, which included a Toshiba laptop, £500 in cash and other personal belongings.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured in the CCTV images is asked to contact the police, as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
