Henshaws are inviting you to indulge your senses at a completely new event being held on Saturday 12th December, at the Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough. Take part in an experience that will entertain your senses, a culinary journey that will help you re-evaluate your perception of taste and smell.
Dinner in the Dark will be an evening of dining and aural entertainment, the first of its kind to be held at the centre. Guests will be acclimatised to the dark before being blind-folded and led to their table where they will experience a 3 course dinner with cuisines from around the world, followed by coffee and truffles!
This alternative Christmas celebration promises an open-minded atmosphere, one that will change your view of the world by reversing your perspective. Throughout the evening there will also be a variety of entertainment to further your sensory experience.

We wanted to try something completely different for an evening event, and as a charity which supports visually impaired people we thought that a Dinner in the Dark would be a great place to start. It will be such a fun evening and the secret menu we’re planning is sounding amazing so far, it’s going to be a truly sensory experience that goes beyond expectations!
