Santas on the Run returns to Stockeld Park’s Enchanted Forest this November, and families across the Harrogate district, and beyond, are invited to don a bright red suit and raise vital pounds for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
On Sunday 29 November 2015, Santas of all shapes and sizes will be taking part in one of the area’s favourite festive fundraisers.
Entrance to the event, which can be anything from a 1km stroll to a 5km run, is £10 for adults and £7 for children aged 5-16. Entry also includes a free Santa suit and goody bag.
Gilbert Maenga, who took part with his family in last year’s event said:
We all had a fantastic time and the children really enjoyed dressing up and running through the park. It was a great start to the festive season and put us all in the Christmas spirit! What made the day more special was knowing that the money we raised would support such a good cause.
