Business finance specialists from NatWest Bank will join forces with Harrogate accountancy firm DSC for a free seminar for family businesses and the owners of small and medium sized enterprises in North Yorkshire.
The business development forum will look at why it can never be too soon for business owners to start planning for the time when their business will run without them, even if that day still seems a long way off.
John Garbutt, partner at DSC Chartered Accountants, said:
The event will cover the important steps business owners should take to maximise value in the years leading up to selling or passing their business on.
We will discuss choosing the right structure and the options available which might include a trade sale, keeping it within the family, involving the existing management or simply closing the door.
Representatives from NatWest’s Harrogate business team will provide an insight into the bank’s priorities, including funding requirements, identifying skills gaps and choosing the right advisers.
The free seminar will take place on Friday 20th November and will be repeated on Friday 27th November, at The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate. Each event will start at 8am with breakfast available from 7.45am, finishing at 10am.
To book a place email your preferred date to info@dscca.com or call 01423 560547.
I would be interested in attending on the 27th if possible.
