Police are investigating an allegation of a serious assault on a 24-year-old man that took place in the early hours of Saturday 17 October 2015.
The incident happened near Hookstone Woods in Harrogate. Officers have secured the scene to carry out a full investigation.
One man is currently in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.
