Knaresborough Silver Band players, despite the usual summer programme of concerts, have been very busy rehearsing the piece ‘Visions’ for the National Championships in Cheltenham this weekend.
The Band, who took the North of England 4th section Champions Crown in Durham earlier in the year, are setting off on Friday, to compete against 14 bands from all over the country.
Thanks to the generosity of Plusnet and several other sponsors following requests for help, the Band is able to travel down by coach for the weekend.
The Band returns to give a concert on 7 November 2015 at COGS with the St Marys Singers and the usual Christmas events including their annual concert.
