On Thursday 24 September 2015 Harrogate District Foundation Trust will be hosting the annual Open Event, giving visitors the opportunity to see behind the scenes and discover the high quality care provided to the local community.
With over 35 interactive stands, several of which are new for this year, attendees can meet the hospital and community service teams and get an insight into how the Trust works.
As always, there’s plenty to see and do. Stands will include representatives from our Maternity team, ward staff and the New You NHS Smokefree service. There will also be a chance to meet representatives from our partner organisations including North Yorkshire County Council and Harrogate & Rural District Clinical Commissioning Group. In addition, behind the scenes tours offer visitors the opportunity to become an infection detective and a radio star, whilst also witnessing the high quality services that the private Harlow Suite has to offer.
Sandra Dodson, Chairman of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust said:
This year the theme of the event is our values. Our teams aim to be Responsible, Respectful and Passionate. The event not only offers visitors the opportunity to find out more about our services, but also how we are living these values.
The event runs from 3:30pm to 7pm and is open to everyone. Free refreshments and parking are provided.
