Emergency services attended a two vehicle collision in Follifoot on 26 August 2015 at 8:49pm
The incident, on the A658, involved a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Fiesta. The driver of the Astra was uninjured. He was a man aged around 20 and was out of the vehicle prior to the emergency services arriving.
The occupant of the Fiesta was a man in his mid 40s, not physically trapped. However he was suffering from chest, neck and shoulder pain he had to be placed on a spinal board. Fire Crews assisted ambulance crew carrying him to the ambulance.
He was then taken to Hospital by ambulance and fire crews made the vehicles safe.
Two Fire Engines from Harrogate Fire Station attended the incident, along with ambulance and police.
