Martin House Children’s Hospice is currently expanding its retail operations and individuals interested in volunteering at any of the charity’s shops across the area are invited to attend an open event on Wednesday 5th August 2015.
Members of the public interested in volunteering are invited to drop in to the newly opened warehouse and showroom at Unit 657A, Street 4, Thorp Arch Estate, Wetherby, between 10am and 4pm to share a cup of tea and a chat with the retail team. The unit is close to many major routes and is only a short drive from Leeds, Harrogate, and York.
Volunteers are required at all shops across North and West Yorkshire, a full list of which can be found on the Martin House website. The hospice will also be opening a new shop in Harrogate in the autumn. Volunteers are required to help with the day to day running of the shops, assisting with pricing, sorting stock, customer service and supporting the shop managers.
