Police have now named the man whose body was recovered from the River Foss in York on Thursday 9 July 2015.
He has been named as Stephen Charles Fry, aged 20, who was a serving soldier based at Imphal Barracks in York. He was originally from Surrey.
An inquest into Stephen’s death is due to open on Wednesday 15 July at 1.45pm, at the Folk Hall, New Earswick, York.
