Work is underway at Martin House’s new shop on Commercial Street, Harrogate with doors opening to shoppers at the end of July.
The shop, conveniently located next door to popular café Bean & Bud, will follow the contemporary design of newly refurbished shops in Boston Spa and Wetherby. Bargain hunters will be able to buy from a wide range of good quality pre-loved clothing and homewares, whilst supporting Martin House families.
The opening of the shop forms part of the charity’s plans to expand its retail operations over the next three years, helping to fund the resources needed to support children and young people with life-limiting illnesses across Yorkshire.
The official opening date will be announced in the coming weeks, but local people are welcome to drop off donated goods at the shop itself, following arrangement with the retail team.
