Lucie Blackburn from Harrogate has been raising money for Macmillan Cancer Research following a terminal diagnosis being given to her father.
The 23-year-old has already completed a sky-dive, but yesterday (9 June 2015) shaved her head to raise even more money. The target of £2,000 has just been met, but she is urging more donations.

I’ve done the event to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan cancer to say thank you for all the help and and support they have given.
I just wanted to do something abit more crazy people can support by donating on the just giving page all money recovered goes for research and training for the nurses that come to your houses.
I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me and also all the amazing people who have donated prizes for the raffle.
