Strong occupier demand and a limited supply of new modern open plan offices in Harrogate have prompted refurbishment work to begin on offices at Copthall Bridge House.
The work begins as property consultancy Carter Jonas secured the final letting at The Exchange – one of the few Grade A premium office buildings in Harrogate Town Centre.
Authenticate Information Systems has leased the final suite in The Exchange having relocated from its former office at Hornbeam Park. The company that connects around 8,000 food businesses with suppliers through its collaborative data platform, Pyramid, is moving following the expansion of its business and continuing to build its technology team.
Paul Marples, MD of Authenticate Information Systems said:
We decided to make the move from Hornbeam Park in order to continue to build our business in Harrogate.
The Exchange offers high quality facilities in a central location which was perfect for what we needed.
With the Exchange fully Let, the landlord will now embark upon a refurbishment of first floor office accommodation in Copthall Bridge House in order to deliver new modern open plan suites from 1,500 sq ft.
Chris Hartnell, senior surveyor with Carter Jonas said:
We are delighted that The Exchange is now fully let.
Harrogate Town Centre has a distinct lack of top quality modern office space and we are excited about the proposed refurbishment of Copthall Bridge House which will provide much needed quality space for local businesses in central Harrogate.
Carter Jonas and JLL act for the landlord.
