Harrogate Hockey Club’s u12 boys came away from the National Finals at Beeston HC, Nottingham with bronze medals.
Undeterred by the big names in hockey, the team performed extremely well with an exceptional pulsating match against Gloucester City being the highlight, recovering from an early 3-0 deficit to win 4-3.
It was a fantastic squad performance from all the players, wonderfully supported by the loyal band of Harrogate supporters.
Hockey is very much alive and thriving in Harrogate with Harrogate Grammar School also having reached the finals in the National Schools competition the day before.
