The driver of a train and tractor have received minor injuries after the train hit the tractor on the rail line between Harrogate and York at Flaxby.
No train passengers were taken to hospital.
The incident happened at Oakwood Farm level crossing, Knaresborough at 5.29pm on Thursday, 14 May 2015.
British Transport Police, North Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Ambulance, NHS HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) and Air Ambulance were all in attendance.
BTP have said that enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened.
Buses have replaced trains between Leeds and York via Harrogate today (15 May 2015).
