Robbers have attempted to smash their way into a a jewellers into a Harrogate this morning, but were stopped after members of staff raised the alarm.
At around 8.35am (Thursday 4 December 2014), three men wearing balaclavas smashed their way into A Fattorini The Jeweller on Parliament Street.
A member of staff sounded the shop’s alarm and the men left the scene empty-handed in a grey metallic van.
Police are currently making enquiries in the Parliament Street area and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them as soon as possible.
