Police investigating a house burglary at Tockwith in the Harrogate District are appealing for witnesses and information.
The offenders made off with a range of jewellery after entering the house between 6.30pm and 10pm on Sunday 12 October 2014.
Items stolen included:
- platinum eternity ring which contained red stones
- three stone diamond ring in yellow gold
- two gold rings with a black opal in each
- gold oval-shaped brooch with a wheel-type design in the middle
- numerous pieces of costume jewellery such as pearl necklaces
- a green suede jewellery roll which contained most of the jewellery
Extensive police enquiries have been carried out and remain ongoing to help locate the suspects and recover the jewellery.
Detectives are urging people with information about the burglary or possible sightings of suspicious people or vehicles in the Tockwith area on the evening of Sunday 12 October, to come forward as soon as possible.
Detective Sergeant Hannah Wright, of Harrogate CID, said: We are doing everything we can to catch the offenders and also support the homeowner who is naturally very distressed by the ordeal.
To assist the investigation, it is important that people come forward with any relevant information that could help us to identify those responsible for the burglary.
