HTH Harrogate LLP have submitted an outline application for 450 homes, mixed use local centre to include retail, primary school, village green, open space and associated infrastructure with access considered.
The (area 28.07 ha) land is adjacent to Otley Road, Howhill Road and Beckwith Head Road Harrogate North Yorkshire HG3 1QL
At the Planning Committee meeting on 8 July 2014 Members refused the application, contrary to Officers recommendation. Members were subsequently advised by the Council’s Solicitor that as they had sought refusal of the application then it would be referred to the Planning Referral Committee for a decision.
The application will be reviewed at the planning referral committee on the 11 September 2014 from 5.30pm
