Police and fire investigators are currently (24 August 2014 11:45am) at the scene of a house fire that occurred overnight on Scargill Road in Harrogate.
The fire service received several calls to reports of the house fire and attended at 2:53am on 24 August 2014
Upon arrival fire crews found a house fire well alight, with all occupants out of the property. Two people suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to Harrogate Hospital.
A ground floor room was extensively damaged by fire with heavy smoke damage to the entire house.
Fire Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera, a main jet and positive pressure ventilation fan.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated by fire investigators and the Police
