On 6 December 2013, four masked men broke into the property in High Birstwith near Harrogate at around 5.15p
They threatened the family with crowbars before leaving with six shotguns, a rifle and a collection of expensive jewellery were taken by the men before leaving the scene in the family’s white Porsche 911, which they later abandoned on White Wall Lane, in Tang.
