North Yorkshire Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate man wanted for extradition to Poland.
Krystian Bartosewicz, 27, is wanted by the Polish authorities having been convicted in 2006 for drug offences. Although it is not known where Bartosewicz is, it is known he has links to the Scarborough area. Paul Somerville, of North Yorkshire Police is coordinating the enquiries to locate Bartosewicz.
Paul Somerville said: If you can help to locate Krystian Bartosewicz, I urge you to contact the police straight away. Bartosewicz has been convicted of serious offences in his native country and needs to face the consequences of his actions.
Paul Somerville added: “If you are shielding Bartosewicz you should know that you are not helping him and may even be committing offences yourself. If this is the case you face the prospect of arrest and prosecution.
Anyone who can help to locate Krystian Bartosewicz, should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass the details to the Force Control Room.
