The teams for the 2014 Great Knaresborough Bed Race were drawn by lottery at a public meeting at the Knaresborough Working Men’s Club on Wednesday 5 March 2014.
As for several years the Knaresborough Lions as organisers of the Bed Race have had to resort to a lottery as they have had more entries than the allocated race field of 90 teams.
This year there was a record level of 133 teams who entered, above the previous high of 129 in 2012.
Race order and numbers will be issued later.
