A 33-year-old woman from Humberside has been detained by North Yorkshire Police in Harrogate following concerns for her safety were raised by her family
It is believed she had suffered a self-inflicted but non-life threatening wrist injury before driving off in a car from Allerton Park holiday park, in the Knaresborough area, at 1.36pm on Tuesday (11 Feb 2014).
Following enquires and patrols along the A59 Knaresborough Road, during which officers maintained contact with the woman via telephone, the car was stopped on Rydal Road at 3.17pm.
The woman was detained and taken by ambulance to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment.
