Gateways School in Harewood is delighted to announce that according to Department for Education figures published last month, the school is among the top-ranking in the secondary school performance tables in the Leeds area.
The school’s excellent results in last summer’s public examinations have contributed to the high ranking with 92% of students achieving A*-C grades at GCSE in 5 or more subjects including English and Maths.
Dr Tracy Johnson, Gateways School Headmistress, said: We are extremely happy with the figures published last month. Gateways’ position in the table shows that it has come out on top as the best independent girls’ High School in the Leeds and Harrogate area.
