North Yorkshire County Council’s decision on reductions in the bus service subsidy, will now be taken at a meeting of the Executive on Tuesday 21 January 2014 and proposals regarding the increase in charges for post 16 home to school and college transport will now be considered at the meeting of the Executive on Tuesday 25 February 2014.
The county council’s Executive was to take a decision on both matters at a meeting last Tuesday (7 January). However, due to difficulties experienced providing access for members of the public to the report papers for the meeting via the county council’s website over the Christmas period, the decisions were postponed.
Members of the public wishing to attend either meeting and/or intending to ask a question or make a statement (speaking for no more than three minutes), should notify Josie O’Dowd in writing:
