Police are appealing for information to trace the whereabouts of a man following an attempted serious sexual assault in Leeds city centre.
Officers urgently want to trace 35-year-old Gambian national Lamin Touray in connection with the incident that occurred at about 5am on Sunday, December 8, in Pine Court off The Calls.
A 21-year-old woman was attacked by a man near to Harcourt House. She fought back and the suspect left the scene heading along Call Lane towards Crown Point Road.
Touray is described as black, 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build. He may be using different a name.
Detective Superintendent Scott Wood, from West Yorkshire Police Protective Services Crime, said:
We urgently need to trace Touray and speak to him about this incident at the earliest opportunity. I would urge anyone who knows his whereabouts or who has any information that could assist in tracing him to contact us immediately.
