Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Furby are all stomping this Christmas!
Harrogate based High Street TV (HSTV) has joined forces with The Walt Disney Company UK & Ireland, and Hasbro Inc in a move that sees a new range of iconic characters line-up on one of the multichannel retailer’s best selling ranges, Stompeez slippers.
The two year deals with Disney and Hasbro are expected to boost sales by £7m and the products are available across HSTV’s various platforms, including dedicated branded space in selected retail outlets such as Argos, ASDA, Toys R Us, Boots, WH Smiths and BHS.
HSTV’s customers will be able to find fondly loved Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and 101 Dalmatians this winter before other new characters are introduced pre Christmas including Mike and Sulley from Monsters University.
In addition, this Christmas the Furby branded Stompeez are available exclusively in Argos stores and online. The deal will combine a direct response TV company with a hugely popular licensed character and is expected to be one of the top sellers for Argos this year.
Stompeez is one of HSTV’s top selling products, selling over 700,000 pairs since its launch, having also sold over 11 million units worldwide and this official licensed Stompeez have already proven popular, with sales rocketing in store and online.
