Police investigating a murder and attempted murder in York have now made an arrest.
The Incident occurred at a property on Phoenix Boulevard, York, on the evening of Sunday 20 October 2013, which left one woman dead and another fighting for her life.
A 25-year-old man from York, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder at around 2.20am on Monday 21 October 2013, at an address in York.
He is currently in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Heather Pearson, of North Yorkshire Police is leading the murder investigation. She said:
Although we have made an arrest in this case, If you have any information about the incident on Phoenix Boulevard, I urge you to come forward immediately, as you may have vital details that could help the investigation.
