Year 3 Pupils at Brackenfield School in Harrogate have spent the day as Roman soldiers.
Tasks included guard duty, sword and spear training, making oil lamps and signing contracts.
The highlight for many was chasing away a Celtic warrior.
The children were a credit to the school and had a wonderful time learning about the Romans.
