North Yorkshire Police have confirmed that the body of a deceased man was found in a Harrogate flat this morning.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said:
Officers were called by the ambulance service at 7.40am on Tuesday 10 September 2013, to a flat on East Parade, Harrogate, following the report of the sudden death of a man.
On arrival they found the body of a 45-year-old man who had been pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
We are not yet in a position to release his identity.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and no one else is being sought in connection with the incident.
A file will be prepared on behalf of the Coroner.
