Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a Northallerton man Martin Paul Michael Clark who is wanted for failing to appear at court.
33-year-old Clark also has links to the Masham and Harrogate areas.
He is wanted by the police after failing to attend Northallerton Magistrates’ Court on 3 September 2013 in connection with an offence of shoplifting.
He is also wanted for breaching police bail and a community order.
Police also want to question him in relation to three incidents of shoplifting.
Officers have carried out extensive enquiries to locate Clark who is believed to be moving around the area in an attempt to evade the police.
Officers are appealing to any members of the public who have seen Clark, have offered him accommodation or know of his current whereabouts to contact them without delay.
Sergeant Simon Wilson of Northallerton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
Clark knows he is wanted by police and he should do the right thing and hand himself in. Anyone who is harbouring him should also remember that it is an offence to harbour a wanted criminal.
Anyone with any information which could assist the investigation to find Clark should call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
Or, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
